We acquired one of these properties through a trusted agent, finding it in a neglected and dilapidated condition. To restore the house to its former glory, we developed a comprehensive planning strategy in-house. This included three key elements: a prior notification to secure a six-metre rear extension, permitted development for a hip-to-gable loft conversion, and a full planning application to extend beyond the rear of the garage and reconfigure the interior.
The result was a beautifully restored home featuring five bedrooms, a spacious rear extension, and a dormer loft conversion, bringing modern comfort and style to a property with rich historical roots.
